Wedding Celebration

Larry and Julie invited fellow Bayview Boat Club members to join their friends and family, in the joyous celebration of their wedding, on June 16. Due to concern over stormy weather, the planned outdoor wedding ceremony and party were moved indoors, inside the 'Boot Scoot Club', at Bayview Marina. As guests arrived at the Hawaiian-themed wedding, they were greeted with flower leis. Male attendants wore blue and white hibiscus-print 'aloha' shirts.
The ceremony included a very moving remembrance of family members that have passed on. The wedding concluded with a symbolic Sand Ceremony. Larry, Julie, and their children each poured a container of a different color of sand, together, into a single new vessel - permanently blending them, just as each individual becomes blended and bonded inextricably into this new family whole.
Afterwards, guests enjoyed great food and refreshments, while they were entertained by the classic rockin' sounds of Pat Lee and his All-Star Band, and by the spirited table-dancing improvisations of Larry Nelson.
