Wrap-up: Our thanks Jim Rosenberg for again hosting our election meeting as a 'Bayview Boat Club Appreciation Party' in Weekends, with complimentary taco bar and beer. We, in turn, appreciate Jim's help and support for our club this past 15th season, and over its whole history.

We had quite a good turn-out, noticeably more than last year. After enjoying some tacos, beers, and a little socializing, Commodore Larry called the election meeting to order. He presided, as nominations for positions, beginning with Commodore, were made, seconded, accepted, and votes rendered. And, what do you know? The new board will begin their term on March 1 with all elected positions and the usual appointed positions, filled - for the first time, since 2006!

Congratulations to the newly elected Bayview Boat Club Officers and Board members for 2012. Following the election, they were clearly excited, already buzzing with plans for the coming season. It's going to be a great year, folks!
