Location: At the 'K' Dock pavilion,
Bayview Marina,
after the
'Parade of Lights' Boat Parade.
Details:
After the 'Parade of Lights'
returns to Bayview, and the boats are tied up safely, it's time to
head down to the 'K' Dock pavilion, for the Bayview Boat Club
'Krismas on K' Christmas Dock Party - hosted by
K Dock's 'usual suspects'.
They'll have the pavilion decorated and partly enclosed, against the
wind, if necessary. Holiday
(and other?) music will play - maybe we'll even sing some carols - as we feast and celebrate, with a
holiday
food
pot luck, dessert and treats. And beer. And wine. And, to fight the
chill... hot spiced cider,
cocoa, and maybe hot buttered rum - along with heaters.
We'll provide smoked chicken. Members, please bring a crockpot (or other) side dish,
and/or your special
holiday beverages, appetizers or treats, to share.
We will present trophies to the winners for Best Decorated Boats, at the party.
Non-member guests and visitors may attend the party as one-day members, for $15 dues per adult (children free, with parents). Check in at the Registration table, at the party.
Toy Drive:
Once again, we will collect toys for the
WFAA Santa's Helpers
Toy Drive.
We boat owners can't deny that we've been blessed with
a wonderful "toy" to play with. If you're able, please share your
blessings, and remember to bring one or more new, unwrapped toys to the
party, and help brighten Christmas for a less fortunate child.
