Event Wrap-up: The dark clouds and windy conditions looked pretty discouraging, on the day of our Season Kick-off and Membership Drive Party. But, considering the sparse parking lot, early in the day, we were pleased with the number that turned-out for the hot dogs, beer and Buffett, on the Weekends patio.
We signed up about ten new memberships, along with a number of renewals. Everyone who joined or renewed at the party was entered into a drawing for a free boat cleaning, donated by Shawn, at Ship Shape. Congratulations to the winner, Earnest Graf. And, Shawn says,... we're going to do it again, at the next event!
Our thanks to Jim Rosenberg, for providing the patio location, the beer, and the music, and to those who brought side dishes to share.
