Prime Rib at the Hella Shrine
For many years running, we especially enjoyed the excellent prime rib, provided by the Shrine catering, at our Commodore's Balls. However, last year, there were problems - many were served very underdone portions. It was a disappointment for us, and embarrassing for them.
The cook of last year is no longer with the Shrine. The "new" chef is actually the "old" chef, returned. After the unprecedented issues of last year, they now use extra care, checking the internal temperature, for instance, rather than making assumptions, based on cooking time. The Shrine's "new" chef and his assistant are proud of their work, and are enthusiastic about the opportunity to, once more, serve us to the standard we'd come to expect and enjoy.(Back to Commodore's Ball 2010)
