Event Wrap-up: Well, we had a fine turn-out, and the
good times did roll! Ayy-EEEEE!
The long line of tables were spread with steaming crawfish and shrimp,
potatoes and corn,
melted 
butter and hot sauce, along with dirty rice and other sides, and
grilled sausage and burgers. Partiers loaded their cardboard trays with
the messy and delicious fare, filled their glasses with beer from the
keg, or frozen Piña Coladas from the
machine, and dove in to eat. Mmmm! A selection of lively Zydeco music
played in the background to complete the mood.
Thanks to everyone who brought a side dish. Special thanks to Mark James, our master of the esoteric art of properly preparing and then boiling crawdads. He put in hours of work before the event, and hours tending the big hot pots, during the party, while the rest of us ate, drank and had a good time.
